Freeman, the exhibition services company, announced a slate of high-level promotions last week that will take effect in July. Joe Popolo, formerly Freeman's president, was named CEO, replacing Donald Freeman Jr., who will remain the company's chairman. John O'Connell will step in as president, vacating his post as chief operating officer for Jeff Price, formerly executive vice president. The company will "continue to be owned by the Freeman family and by the company's Employee Stock Ownership Plan," Donald Freeman said in a statement.
