An agreement between Florida Gov. Charlie Crist and the Seminole Tribe of Florida to allow Class III gaming, including card games and Vegas-style slots, at the tribe's seven resorts is currently under review by the Florida State Supreme Court. The state house and senate have charged that the governor violated the state constitution when he set up the deal this past November. A ruling is expected in the next two to three weeks. Currently, only the 500-room Seminole Hard Rock and Casino in Hollywood offers the new slot machines and games. All told, the tribe would install approximately 15,000 slot machines at its resorts if allowed to progress.
