China Seminar 2007, an International
Association of Exhibitions and Events meeting, will be held July 24
at the Jin Jiang Hotel in Shanghai Puxi, China. Approximately 140
people are expected to attend the forum, which will focus on the
global events industry and cooperation between organizers of U.S.
and Chinese trade shows.
Attending the 2008 AsiaPacific
Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) in Australia will be less
expensive for more attendees, the show's organizer, Reed Travel
Exhibitions, announced last week. Reed is eliminating the
semi-hosted-buyer designation that last year forced approximately
100 qualified buyers to pay their own airfare to the show. This
year, all qualified attendees who live outside the Australian state
of Victoria will receive full, hosted-buyer benefits: complimentary
airfare, accommodation, and entry to the expo and related events
and forums. To qualify as a hosted buyer, prospective attendees
must fill out a survey and be approved by the show's organizers.
AIME 2008 will be held Feb. 19-20 in Melbourne.
