Spotme, a wireless communication service for meetings from Shockfish SA, has launched an upgraded version. The new handheld devices feature an RFID card reader, GPS technology, a color screen, a keyboard, and a wireless microphone and speaker. A search function allows attendees to find each other, and a face search allows them to browse by pictures. The positioning technology and RFID help organizers keep track of session attendance and educational credits. Spotme is available for events of up to 5,000 participants.
