Hurricane Katrina continues to plague the convention industry in New Orleans. The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced it will relocate its 2008 annual meeting to Orlando from New Orleans because the Lakefront Airport in New Orleans Òdoes not appear to be coming back as fast as other parts of the city and NBAA would not be able to successfully host this large display at the airport in the way that our show exhibitors and attendees have come to expect,Ó said Ed Bolen, the associationÕs president and CEO, in a statement. NBAA was forced to relocate its 2005 annual meeting to Orlando from New Orleans in the immediate aftermath of the hurricane.
