Aramark Harrison Lodging will manage the Desmond Tutu Education Center, a $23 million conference facility with 8,000 square feet of meeting space and 60 guest rooms in New York City, due to open in September. The center, being constructed by the General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church as part of a revitalization of Chelsea Square on the west side of Manhattan, is named after the Archbishop Emeritus of Cape Town, South Africa, a Nobel Laureate. The property will be a member of the International Association of Conference Centers.
