The New England Boat Show, traditionally held at the Bayside Exposition Center in Boston, will be produced at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center for the next five years, marking the first time a consumer show has left the Expo center for the new convention center since the Massachusetts Legislature this summer altered a law that had effectively banned such moves. When the BCEC was being built, the ban was enacted to protect the Expo's consumer-show business. Next year's New England Boat Show will be held Feb. 17-24 at the BCEC.

The Austria Center Vienna has added a large multifunctional room. The space can be divided into a maximum of six meetings room, serve as a 900-seat restaurant or provide 19,500 square feet of exhibit space. The conference facility also is adding eight foyer cafes.
