Jordy Tollett, president of the Greater
Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, returned to the office
Monday, ending a six-week leave of absence that began after
allegations that he was drinking on his lunch hour. During a
closed-door session on Thursday, the bureau's executive board
decided to reinstate him, said a spokesperson. His future at the
bureau is not being addressed now, she added, but his contract is
up for renewal in February.
