The 170-room Hotel Sainte Claire in San Jose, Calif., has reopened as it places the finished touches on a $6 million renovation. Around the corner from the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, the historic property, built in 1926, now offers complimentary wireless Internet, a fitness center and in-room spa services, as well as 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

The Ivy Hotel, a $75 million, 159-room luxury hotel, will open this fall in downtown San Diego with a 225-seat fine dining restaurant, a 17,000-square-foot rooftop with a pool and lounge, a multilevel nightclub and 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

In New York City, the 386-room Doubletree Hotel JFK Airport debuted last week, after a $10 million renovation to a Radisson property. The hotel is at the entrance to the airport and has 5,000 square feet of meeting space. Doubletree aims to open properties at the 25 busiest airports in the United States.

Disneyland Resort Paris has added a 70,200-square-foot event space. The covered venue is in the heart of the resort, near its two convention centers. The space is available for conferences, product launches, exhibitions, gala dinners and shows.

Friday Harbor House, a waterfront resort on San Juan Island in Washington State, has completed a $1.3 million expansion that more than doubled its meeting and event space and boosted the total number of guest rooms to 23. The property now includes a 1,070-square-foot meeting room.
