A symposium on the future of design, construction and use of exhibition venues will be held at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel on Oct. 6, organized by the International Association for Exhibition Management and the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland. The Society for Government Meeting Planners and the U.S. General Services Administration will hold a forum on Sept. 8 to discuss the changes in per diem rates across the country, which will take effect on Oct. 1, and how the rates are decided and appealed. The meeting, which will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C., is designed for government sales managers, convention and visitor bureau representatives and supplier members of SGMP.
