Black Enterprise magazine named three hotel firms to its list of 30 companies it identified as the best companies representing minorities within their work force. Making the grade were Starwood Hotels &  Resorts Worldwide, MGM Mirage and Marriott International. Black Enterprise culled its list from 1,000 of America's largest publicly traded companies and 50 global companies with significant U.S operations. To make the list, companies had to prove they had a strategy in place to plan and implement diversity activities and measure their effectiveness.
