This week, the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism has embarked upon a new television, print and Internet marketing campaign that derives from the state's name. Called "How will you connect?" the campaign is aimed at attracting "overworked and stressed out New Yorkers" to Connecticut's different regions, which the tourism commission has branded with names, colors and personalities. Mystic County's color, for example, is "aqua," and its personality is "adventuresome and spirited."
