Tourism Toronto has launched a new destination planner, Digital Toronto, designed for meeting professionals and tour operators. Distributed on CD, Digital Toronto replaces the traditional printed destination planner and allows users to search Tourism Toronto's member directory, print information sheets and get travel information. Once installed on a user's desktop, it is updated automatically over the web.

The Jamaican government will begin charging a Tourism Enhancement Fee May 1. Airlines will collect US$10 from passengers visiting Jamaica, and cruise lines will collect US$2. Funds will be used to improve Jamaica's tourism product.
