JetBlue Airways announced plans this week to bring new focus to its Boston service. Currently occupying two gates at Logan International Airport's Terminal E, the airline will begin operating out of five gates at Terminal C in May and expects to add one gate every six months over the next three years. The airline also will spend $9 million improving its new Boston base.

American Airlines and regional affiliate American Eagle have announced a ramp up in service to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, taking the carriers to a combined total of 839 departures each day. New flights from DFW include new service to Peoria and Champaign, Ill.; Pensacola, Fla.; Torreon, San Luis Potosi and Chihuahua, Mexico; Buffalo, N.Y.; Lexington, Ky.; and Savannah, Ga.
