Michael Hollander resigned last week as president of the Long Island (N.Y.) Convention & Visitors Bureau, to become a vice president of Long Island Hotels LLC, a franchisee of limited-service hotels. He will leave his post June 18, at which point past president Lydia Libero will act as interim president while the bureau finishes a national search. "He wanted to change his lifestyle and spend more time with his family," explained Michael DeLuise, vice president of development at Dowling College, past chairman of the bureau and a member of the search committee.
