United Airlines plans to offer daily flights to Vietnam, the first U.S. carrier to do so in nearly 30 years. The new service, which is awaiting regulatory review by the Vietnamese and U.S. governments, will depart from San Francisco to Ho Chi Minh City via Hong Kong. The carrier says it will use Boeing 747-400 aircraft, fitted with 14 first-class suites, 73 business class-seats and 260 seats in economy.
