The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City will undergo a four-year $900 million renovation and 30,000-square-foot expansion, to allow the museum to display more of its collection. The benefits for meeting planners: A recently closed cafeteria will become the Roman Court, a glass-sheltered classical-style courtyard, and a new center for education on art will add a 300-seat auditorium and classrooms.
