Ritz-Carlton Opens in Lake Tahoe

The 170-room, 23-private residence Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe, opened today in Northern California. Amenities include the Manzanita restaurant by James Beard Award-winning chef Traci des Jardins; a 17,000-square-foot spa and fitness center; access to the Jack Nicklaus-designed Old Greenwood and Brad Bell-designed Coyote Moon golf courses; and 15,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 6,600-square-foot ballroom, two prefunction areas, an executive boardroom, five meeting rooms and a terrace overlooking the ski slopes.
