Hunter R. SlatonDecember 9, 2009
Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort, reopened last week on a private island off the coast of Antigua following a comprehensive $28 million renovation. The 40-suite property (including 28 new suites and 12 updated ones) had been closed for renovations since June 2008. Further additions to the resort include Sense, A Rosewood Spa, with five spa suites; a new restaurant and bar, The Verandah, with a new executive chef; and the new bistro-style Pool Grille restaurant. The resort has four spaces for group events, with a maximum capacity of 180 persons. Groups can book the entire island for exclusive use.
