Spirit Pilots Picket, Set June 12 Strike Date

Pilots for Spirit Airlines were planning to picket at New York's LaGuardia Airport yesterday, one of the airline's most profitable bases. The pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, say Spirit is demanding too many concessions from them. The union also has threatened to strike on June 12 if contract terms haven't been reached by that time.
