Convention and Exhibition Industry Association CEOs Form Alliance

The CEOs from five major organizations involved with the convention and exhibition industry have agreed to meet regularly, at least twice a year, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation across industry issues, including safety and security, advocacy, education, industry affairs and best practices, among others. The group, which will meet for its first official session in June, includes CEOs from the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association, Destination Marketing Association International, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, the International Association of Venue Managers and the Society of Independent Show Organizers.
