Cvent Upgrades Destination Guide

Online meetings-technology provider Cvent unveiled an upgraded Cvent Destination Guide website yesterday, a free travel guide designed for meeting planners. Highlights of the revamped guide, which consists of about 6,000 pages of information about more than 600 worldwide destinations, include new search functionality, an enhanced tie to the Cvent Supplier Network, and an upgraded look and feel. Planners now can search for destinations by type, then further narrow down according to meeting-specific criteria, such as average room rates and maximum exhibit space. Navigation between the guide and the Supplier Network now is more seamless, and the modernized interface aims to simplify and streamline research and planning. Cvent plans to include more than 1,000 destinations in the guide by the end of this year.
