Disney to Begin Taking Reservations for New Hawaii Property in August

On Aug. 2, phone lines will open for reservations at Disney's new Hawaii resort hotel, the Aulani. Scheduled to debut Aug. 29, 2011, the 830-room resort on 21 acres of western Oahu will be Disney's first stand-alone resort that is not all Disney Vacation Club units. The Aulani also will feature 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event and meeting space.  Group sales began last fall.
