Florida's Omni Amelia Island Begins $85 Million Expansion

 The Omni Amelia Island Plantation recently broke ground on an $85 million expansion and renovation project that should be completed in spring 2013. The redevelopment will add 20,000 square feet to the existing 50,000-square-foot conference center, 155 additional guest rooms and suites, new dining options and a redesigned lobby with views of the ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows.
