Most people don't realize that if they find a lower fare for the same flight after booking, they can usually get back some of the difference. Yapta.com, an airfare-search site similar to Kayak.com, tracks the price for your flight after you book it, and alerts you if it drops significantly. JetBlue, Alaska Airlines and Southwest Airlines (the one airline not represented in the Yapta search) refund the full difference, while other carriers charge between $75 to $250 to rebook at a lower price.
