JW Marriott Opens in Panama

The 118-room JW Marriott Panama Golf & Beach Resort opened Thursday within the master-planned Buenaventura beachfront community on the Central American country's Pacific coast. The resort, the brand's first in Panama, offers five restaurants, an 18-hole Nicklaus Design golf course, a fitness center, a spa, a kids club and a beach club. The property has 5,565 square feet of meeting space, including a grand ballroom and four smaller meeting rooms. Among the guest accommodations are four residence-style villas.
