The 15-acre, 297-room, oceanfront Andaz Wailea Resort & Residences is scheduled to open in March 2013 with a spa, a fitness center, several food and beverage outlets, and an as-yet unspecified amount of meeting space.

The 508-room Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa recently completed a renovation of all of its guest rooms, adding new furnishings, traditional Hawaiian artwork and wireless Internet capabilities throughout the property. The resort, on Kaanapali Beach, also offers a spa, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and more than 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space.

The Courtyard by Marriott Maui is set to open this spring near Kahului Airport as the brand's first Maui hotel. The $16.5 million property will offer 138 guest rooms, a business center, 1,663 square feet of meeting space, a pool and a fitness center.

The 413-room, 37-villa Fairmont Kea Lani will reopen its signature restaurant, Ko, following a $5.1 million rebuild. Executive chef Tylun Pang's menu offers a farm-fresh, contemporary take on traditional island recipes. The hotel itself recently completed a substantial renovation of its pool decks, poolside cabanas, guest rooms and ballrooms. Groups can make use of 36,000 square feet of meeting space and a business center, and the property also features a 24-hour fitness center.

The 806-room Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa recently completed a refurbishment of its front desk area and lobby, including all concierge desks and check-in areas. For meetings, the resort offers approximately 100,000 square feet of space.
