MPI Research Shows Short Lead Times Weigh on Planners

The February issue of Meeting Professionals International's Business Barometer, a bimonthly survey, shows that short lead times, aside from being the new normal in the industry, continue to affect the market. Industry professionals also indicated that their worries about global economic uncertainty have lessened. Another trending topic within the meetings world is low budgets, particularly indicated by those working on government events.
