An important railroad hub since 1882, this historic city, surrounded by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, offers visitors a wide range of quaint shops and cultural venues, all easily accessible from the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center.
The property, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, recently underwent an $18 million renovation that updated all 320 guest rooms while restoring much of its original 1880s Tudor charm.
For planners, the hotel offers 17,000 square feet of high-tech, flexible meeting space for up to 700 attendees, plus a 6,270-square-foot outdoor space (with gazebo) that seats up to 250.
