San Jose Airport Completes $1.3 Billion Modernization

Under budget and ahead of schedule, a $1.3 billion modernization has been completed at the Mineta San Jose (Calif.) International Airport. New features include a $41 million baggage security system, free Wi-Fi throughout the terminals, and all-new shops and restaurants, including local staples Gordon Biersch, Sonoma Chicken and Schurra's Chocolates. Building officials have applied for LEED Silver Certification for the facility.
