Tropicana to Become a DoubleTree by Hilton
by Michael J. ShapiroOctober 26, 2012
The 1,600-room Tropicana Las Vegas will be known as the Tropicana Las Vegas–a DoubleTree by Hilton as of January 2013, based on a strategic partnership announced today. Tropicana Las Vegas will continue to own and operate the property. Beginning in January, guests will be able to earn and redeem Hilton HHonors points and airline miles at the resort, marking Hilton's return to the Las Vegas Strip after a nearly 14-year absence. Tropicana recently completed a $200 million transformation of the property.
