Waldorf Astoria Panama Opens in Panama City

 Waldorf Astoria made its Latin America debut with the opening of the 248-room Waldorf Astoria Panama, company executives announced this week. The luxury property has four on-site restaurants and bars, a 2,000-square-foot spa, a fitness center, an outdoor pool and 3,500 square feet of meeting space, including three meeting rooms and a ballroom. The hotel is in the entertainment district of Panama City, two blocks from the city center and about a 25-minute drive from Tocumen International Airport.
