Bermuda

Venues & Activities

Whether it’s culture, history or active adventures, Bermuda offers an extensive range of group activities — whether it’s scuba diving among more wreck dives here than anywhere in the world, golfing on championship courses with breathtaking views, or visiting acclaimed local museums and historic sites. A year long calendar of events —which includes golf tournaments, sailing regattas and festivals — provides additional, ready-made group functions that add even more value to the visit.

Bermuda’s diverse venues work well for both group outings as well as private events; among the noteworthy choices are the Bermuda Aquarium, Dolphin Quest Bermuda, historic Fort St. Catherine, the Crystal Caves of Bermuda and five public parks that can be used for private functions. With so many possibilities for activities, accommodations and venues — and the $200 credit adding even more value — the time for bringing groups to Bermuda has never been better.

Just under two-hours by air from the East Coast, it is possible to travel in the morning or afternoon and still hold a meeting that same day. Bermuda’s broad variety of meeting and conference facilities range from intimate boardrooms to state-of-the art, high-tech meeting spaces. Professionals can expect presentations and events to run brilliantly with full technological support including slide projection, multimedia and video services and connection to satellite global access.

Bermuda is a dream destination that blends Old World charm (it’s the oldest British colony) with sunny pleasures and a decidedly professional commitment to business. Bermuda packs a lot of perfection into a small space. The main island is just 21 miles long and no more than 1.25 miles across at its widest point. Unlike many destinations, Bermuda is a place that works well for groups year-round. Its mild semitropical climate keeps the average temperatures between 68 and 84 degrees, and there are only two seasons: the “Golf and Spa” season, which runs from November through March, and the “Beach and Sizzle” season, which lasts from April through October. Even the trip home is smoother when groups visit Bermuda. U.S. customs are cleared in Bermuda for return trips, allowing travelers a faster arrival process at their U.S. point of entry.
