by Kaylee HultgrenDecember 9, 2009
The San Diego Convention Center has announced plans to install solar panels that will cover 90,000 square feet of the building's roof. The project will begin in early 2010 and be completed by spring. Other green initiatives currently in place at the facility include food composting and donations, as well as water conservation, which saves 81,026 gallons of water each year.
