This gorgeous city, which bills itself as one of the most accessible and accommodating mountain-meeting destinations in North America, certainly lives up to the hype. A wealth of upscale lodging, fine-dining establishments and top-notch outdoor activities await all year round.

The Park City Marriott has been rebranded as the Sheraton Park City. The downtown property recently upgraded its 200 guest rooms and 14,000 square feet of meeting space, the latter receiving new wall coverings, carpeting, light fixtures, sound system and furniture. The hotel offers an indoor pool, a hot tub and a fitness center. A patio with outdoor seating and firepits is perfect for après-ski, and there are three food-and-beverage outlets: Timbers Restaurant, the Timbers Bar and Patio, and a Starbucks.

The Pendry Residences Park City are slated for completion in winter 2021. Many of the 150 fully serviced guest rooms and suites (ranging in size from studios to four-bedroom penthouse residences) will be in a rental pool. Among the Pendry Residences' amenities will be the area's first rooftop bar and pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, arcade games in the recreation facility, the Pinwheel Kids Club, and a spa with eight treatment rooms. For groups, there will be two ballrooms, at 3,500 square feet and 2,250 square-feet, respectively.
