The 227-room St. Regis Bal Harbour opened in January with 11,200 square feet of meeting space and the J&G Grill from star chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The 219-room Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa will debut in July with more than 8,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center was awarded LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council last year, making it Florida's first such convention facility. The center is now carbon-neutral.
In Palm Beach, a new 400-room Hilton hotel will rise next to the convention center. Stay tuned for details.
