Some of the most exciting architecture in the country is popping
up in Kansas City, Mo. On the traditional side, the gorgeously
restored Union Station and the unique fountain inside is a must-see
for groups of up to 2,000.
On the contemporary side, an expansion to the Nelson-Atkins
Museum of Art will be topped by five frosted glass structures,

Remodeling at the Kansas City Convention Center wraps up in
2005, and an adjacent performing arts center is planned for 2007.
Also, the 366-room Fairmont at the Plaza, the 374-room Adam’s Mark
Kansas City and the 731-room Hyatt Crown Center all recently
completed renovations.
