This city, made famous by John Berendt’s novel,Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, offers the
403-room Westin Savannah Harbor Resort, which hosts up to 1,400 for
events and has an excellent golf course. The resort is on
Hutchinson Island, next to the Savannah International Trade &
Convention Center.
In addition, the 347-room Hyatt Regency Savannah will open a
ballroom and a restaurant next month, while in spring, the 126-room
Mansion on Forsyth Park debuts with a spa, meeting space and a
culinary school.
Gourmands must not miss the crispy scored flounder in
apricot-shallot sauce at the elegant Olde Pink House on one of
Savannah’s beautiful leafy squares.
