The new 428-room Hyatt Regency
Trinidad, right, which welcomed its first guests in January, is the
first full-service hotel to open on this oil-producing island
nation since 1962.
Anchoring the city’s International
Waterfront Center, the hotel offers 43,000 square feet of meeting
space, including a 16,000-square-foot ballroom, and four
restaurants. Guest rooms come equipped with iHome stereos and
flat-screen TVs.
For relaxation, head to the
9,000-square-foot Spa Esencia with its six treatment suites, or
take a dip in the infinity pool overlooking the Gulf of Paria.
