Cheryl-Anne is a senior contributing editor, who covers the Caribbean and the ever expanding U.S. hotel industry, from small boutique properties to global chains and marketing consortiums. Born in British Guyana, she grew up in Barbados and holds a B.A. in history from New York University, with a phi beta kappa distinction. An amateur birder and avid runner with four marathons to her credit, she currently lives in Westchester, N.Y., with her family and several animals of her own, as well as the occasional foster kitten or two from the local SPCA, where she is a volunteer.
