Many incentive
companies are adding something new to their merchandise
offerings: installation services for items such as flat-screen TVs,
home theaters, universal remotes, etc. -- stuff that’s fun to get
but a nightmare to try to put together or install yourself.
Minneapolis-based Carl-son Marketing,
for example, now offers clients gift cards for Fire Dog, a service
division of Circuit City, as a points-redeemable reward.
Rymax Marketing Services, based in Pine
Brook, N.J., recently launched Premium Installation & Design, a
sister company that offers “white glove service” as an incentive
program reward, combining home theater components and integrating
them into the recipient’s home.
“With so many incentive programs
offering high-end electronics, there was no service that could be
utilized to install the rewards into the recipient’s home, creating
the total package,” said Paul Lipton, Rymax’s director of marketing
services. “Looking to the future, there will be an even larger
emphasis on this service because of wireless technology.”
