Are Planners Germaphobes?

Planners keep their hands clean, especially on the road

We buy Purell in bulk, flush the toilet with our feet and disinfect our hotel rooms upon arrival. The majority of meeting professionals worry quite a bit about catching germs -- and protecting meeting attendees from contagion -- confirmed a recent poll by M&C Research. Just 6 percent of the 149 respondents, are "not at all" worried about such things, while 8 percent worry "excessively" and 45 percent "try to be very careful." Handshaking is stressful for many: One in five rush to wash their hands afterward.
