There's comfort in choosing tried-and-true meeting places, but planners often are inclined to consider a new city or venue for upcoming events. In fact, of 125 respondents to a recent M&C Research poll, 79 percent took a group somewhere new in the past year. Tips from peers and meetings publications are the top ways they find out about new places.
