ABCNEWS.com report: "The ambient interior altitude of the plane
goes from sea level to 8,000 feet in a matter of minutes. This
causes every part of our bodies to swell up. Then, when we land,
every part of the body contracts." The result on a full stomach:
gastrointestinal distress.
The five best city hotels in the United States,
according to the 16th annual reader poll by Andrew Harper's
Hideaway Report, are the Four Seasons Chicago, St. Regis (New York
City), Hotel Bel-Air (Los Angeles), Four Seasons New York and
Ritz-Carlton San Francisco.
