Xenocom Inc. has a new laptop created with the
meetings industry in mind. Recognizing that many facilities still
offer overhead projectors, Xenocom designed the screen on the new
OHP-6000X notebook to open all the way back and lie flat on the
surface of the projector, while still keeping the keyboard
accessible.
The laptop, which costs about $5,000, comes with 640 by 480 or
800 by 600 resolution and a built-in 16-bit audio system with an
amplifier, two speakers and an internal microphone. Xenocom also
makes a rugged laptop called the Rocky 100, built to survive tough
weather and work conditions, with a screen that's readable even in
bright sunlight.
All models can be customized to meet clients' specific needs.
