LOGGED ON

Just like PCs, pagers and handheld computers, projectors are
getting smaller and smaller. New from the Allendale, N.J.-based
Plus Corporation of America come sleek digital projectors that
weigh less than six pounds and feature technology from Texas
Instruments called Digital Light Processing. The U2-1080
XGA and U2-870 SVGA are slim and elegant
but powerful enough to deliver 800 and 700 ANSI lumens of
brightness, respectively. The U2-1080 costs $8,995 and the U2-870,
$5,995. For more information, contact the Plus Corporation at (800)
289-7587 or visit its Web site www.plus-america.com/projectors/products/index.html.
PC/Nametag, Madison, Wis.-based makers of the low-cost
meetings-management software called MeetingPower, now offers an
economical registration program. Priced at $179, the Microsoft
Access-based PC/Nametag 8 was created with the help of Coleman,
CMM, a former president of Meeting Professionals International and
developer of his own software called Sentient. (800-233-9767; www.pcnametag.com)
