Since you bought that color printer several years ago,
manufacturers have continued to improve the quality, clarity and
price of their offerings. Two current products from the large
Hewlett-Packard family that may fit your needs are
the HP DeskJet 842C printer and the HP
2000C Professional Series. For those on a tight budget,
the 842C (pictured left), priced at $149, is an inkjet model that
offers photo-quality printing. It’s fast, too, churning out eight
black-and-white pages per minute in draft mode, five per minute in
color. The 2000C printers, at $499, are faster models (12
black-and-white pages per minute in draft mode) that also offer
