Be it a backpack, a clutch, a
handbag, a tote, a jewelry roll, an apron, a photo album, an
envelope or a coaster, if it can be made with fabric and thread,
M.Y.O. Bag will cut it and sew it.
A new production division of Ridgewood,
N.J.-based Focus Merchandising, M.Y.O. Bag began its
“make-your-own” operations last fall to allow creative planners,
tired of buying stock items, to design promotional products exactly
as they desire. If planners need help, the full-time design team
will suggest cost-effective solutions.
With hardly any limits, clients can
customize aspects such as colors, sizes, handles, zippers, fabrics,
etc., as much as they’re willing to pay for, says founder and
president Allison Rao-Lavigna. “One person called up and asked for
silver calfskin leather. Well, we don’t have that in our office,
but we found it.” (201) 445-5858; www.myobag.com
