Pearl Sea Cruises has
signed contracts for two new luxury ships. The first will
accommodate 165 passengers and debut in July 2008. The second will
carry 210 passengers and debut in June 2009. Both are earmarked for
international cruising.
Northwest Airlines
will begin daily nonstop service from Bradley International Airport
in Hartford, Conn., to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, beginning on
July 1.
Radisson Hotels &
Resorts has created its own line of branded spas called
Larimar, the name of a stone native to the Dominican Republic and
popular throughout the Caribbean, and which is believed to have
healing powers. The first Larimar spa opened in November 2006 at
the 353-room Radisson Resort & Casino in Aruba.
The Indiana Convention
Center has been given official approval to break ground in
2008 on an expansion that will give the facility an additional
420,000 square feet of event space, increasing its overall space by
73 percent. Plans for a new convention center hotel are being
developed.
