Thought control: Moving a ball via calm brain
waves
Talk about head games:
Here’s how a fiendishly entertaining diversion called Mindball
works. Players sit at a table before a small ball and don a
headband that scans their brain waves. The calmer a participant is,
the farther the ball moves, with the ultimate goal being to push
the little ball all the way to the other side.
Sound weird enough? The game originally
was designed as an interactive museum exhibit but was repurposed as
a traffic-builder at trade shows.
Mindball costs $1,500 for the first day
and $750 for each additional day, plus transport expenses. (418)
